Circus tigers treated as caged animals, not good for these majestic felines.

Look son, Tigers by *SantiBilly Even enclosed in a cage, these wonderful animals are scary enough to keep the father and his child in a safety distance. An exchange of glances takes place between freedom and slavery. ( Featured by myraincheck )

Oh... this makes me sad.
I would never transport a tiger in this way... but I have the feeling the owners of the tigers are doing a few other things I would never consider doing with a tiger.

heyyyyyyyyyy. all people writing here about how animals treated badly.

there are millions human living in worse conditions in all over the world and you just pity animals and talking about animals.

i pity you humanbeings. here what you do is just a jerk off. emotional jerk off.

you dont even move your fingers to make something better but make bla bla bla about how you pity these animals.

if a Human who does not care his/her own kind says he/she cares animals, it is a fucking lie and a jerk off.

even rich guys have to face and deal more diffuculties than these animals have to in daily human life.

so do not use animals for your personal jerk off.

if you wanna be really helpful, leave the screen, get out and do something for humanbeing

You should see how they treat workers in the clothing industry, they expect them to make 1000 clothes a day, little pay ($10 a week I think) and of they do not reach the target set, their ID card is taken away and literally imprisioned in the factory all night. It is pure slavery.

But nobody does shit they are too worried about wolves or some other animal.

Hard to believe some people still treat any animal like this; even more shocking is an critically endangered animal to be treated like this.

Makes me feel sad to look at....I really hate seeing stuff like this...Then if the animal breaks free and kills someone, right away they want to kill the animal just for doing what came natural...If they'd just have left them alone in their natural habitat in the first place!....They should be running free, as they are meant to.

The tiger to me is among the most majestic species on the planet. I wish humans would have higher respect for such beauty and be more active in preserving it out in the wild. :)

Maybe instead of subjecting them to abuse in a circus, you release them into the wild? I think very few people would open the cage door in the middle of a town and say, "YOU'RE FREE!" And it's ignorant to assume that would be the case, and use that as justification of abuse of animals

It wouldn't be that simple, though. Many of the animals in circuses were born in captivity and don't know how to survive in the wild. It's be better to give them to a responcible and good zoo/sanctuary that care for them. They may have come from animals that were once in the wild, and they behave wildly, but they aren't truly wild anymore.

That's very true. The main point I was trying to make is that abuse of an animal should never be justified by saying that it would run rampant through the streets otherwise. But there totally are zoos and sanctuaries out there that are the best caretakers

The concept of putting animals in a cage is not cruel. We do that everyday to our dogs, cats, bunnies, budgies etc. etc.
What boers me is big animals in small cages (like this one), without water, food, shade, bedding etc. for long periods of time.
And I don't mind animals in circus, as long as they are treated humanly, fed properly, and not, for example, whipped if they get a trick wrong. Done correctly, it's just like showing off to your friends how you taught your dog to roll over. Not cruel at all.

Beautiful photo, as well.

I work at In-sync Exotics Big Cat Rescue in Texas, and I've seen many animals who are glad to be out of cages and able to roam in huge acres of land and hunt like they were born to. We actually have a lion named Macifir and he was a circus lion in the Philippines and was sent here as a PET, being mistreated. Its sad to see how many animals are mistreated in the circus....All animals should be out of cages and in the wild instead of being little cutesy pets. There many Big Cats at our rescue that shouldnt be there but are because of us humans.

Hmmm... If I follow what people say, none animals should be in cage : no rats, no rabbits, no guinea pigs, no birds etc. I know some people let their animals free in their appartment but it's like a bigger cage. Who knows if animals are really happy in cages/appartements ? Animals will happier in nature where life is hard....   This a really intereting question... A random photo that says a lot.

tbh it depends on the circus. A good circus is actually good thing for animals- 1) they are trained to do performs that are safe and dont put them in any danger 2) they dont need to give a damn about predators 3) getting food is a matter of obeying a dude who holds the piece of food - easier than hunting for it 3) vets sweat their heads to keep the animal fine, so they are free of discomfort and diseases.
Support the good circuses. Banish those that do not put enough care into animals and treats them like tools to make money, instead of partners.

I agree with you... There are a few pages on facebook that are anti circus... they could always use more likes (hint hint lol). Many of the big circuses still use animals, they have some great human acts and don't need to have the animals. These tigers are too big for that cage... And truthfully if they get angry enough they could bust their way out of there and I would hate for a child or innocent bystander to be standing nearby.  Doesn't take long in that enviorment for an animal... even a human animal to lose their mind.

Poor tigers... Whatever country this powerful photo was taken in is simply un-knowledgable about animal rights.
Animals were placed upon this world to live, eat, thrive, roam like humans do. They live a life of their own, not what humans drive them to do, such as put on stupid performances for the sake of human entertainment. This picture is very powerful and very well taken, congrats on the DD, you totally deserved it.
